Kevin and Julie visit the Boston Tea Party

Here's a shot of me "throwing the tea into the sea" at the Boston Tea Party. At the Boston Tea Party, they give you blue feathers. This is supposed to be your "disguise" so that the British don't see you. Frankly, I found that the second shot of Julie and me was much better for getting into the "style" of the times. Hey, at least they give you free tea at the end of the tour!

Kevin and Julie go to New York

Here's a shot of me in Times Square, which actually seemed pretty safe. Of course, when there are lots of people around speaking in foreign languages and pulling out maps and cameras on the street, you tend to feel that you're less of a target! We spent a lot of time near Broadway, so we ventured over to K& L's Rock America store and visited Mujibur of the Late Show with David Letterman. We saw Sirajul too, but we didn't have a camera at that time, and he wasn't as friendly as Muribur anyway.

Dixie the Dinosaur

If you travel along Interstate 80 in Dixon, California, you will encounter Dixie the Dinosaur. This is a life-sized replica of a Brachiosaurus built next to the Cheaper! gas station to increase business. Did we stop? Did we peruse the overpriced and understocked grocery store? Did we stop to take a picture? You bet we did! Will we return? Of course! I mean, how often do you get to pet a dinosaur, even it is made out of concrete!

Disneyland

Disneyland is one of Julie's favorite places. Here's a shot of her near a graveyard on Tom Sawyer's Island. We also rode the Jungle Cruise, which as you can see looks "just like" a tropical island cruise. Seriously, it actually was pretty cool. We would have included shots of the Pirates of the Caribbean, but as you may know that ride is an indoor ride and the photos I took looked pretty bad. Disney-geeks will notice that the shot of me is from the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland, while the one of the both of us is from DisneyWorld.
