Gotta Have More Cowbell

As some of you may know, I’m a big fan of Will Ferrell (see: The Frat Pack Tribute, another site in the Kevdo.com media empire). So, it’s no wonder that I love the More Cowbell application.

The app plays a short clip of Christopher Walken’s signature catch-phrase from the famous Cowbell sketch from Saturday Night Live. While fans of Will Ferrell’s inspired and frenetic cowbell playing may have issues with using a cowbell without a drumstick, sometimes you’re in the mood for some cowbell and the only thing you have handy is your iPhone.

Thus, Maverick Software’s More Cowbell, the application. Pretty simple: touch the cowbell to play the cowbell.  Even better, the latest version allows you to shake the cowbell to play it! The app’s settings allow you to adjust the sensitivity of the shaking, or to turn off the “shake to play” settings entirely.

Gotta have more cowbell and gotta love this great little application.
