Considering this is at the top of the iTunes charts, I guess a lot of people are liking what I am about this really great app, Koi Pond.
If you love those fish screensavers you know the basic idea behind Koi Pond. It’s a Koi Pond… for your iPhone. Simple eh? Well, the thing that takes this to the next level is the amount of customization available.
- Swirl the water with your finger
- Shake device to feed the fish
- Adjust the number of fish (four settings)
- Adjust the number of plants (four settings) - and move them around with your finger
- Adjust rock color (four settings)
- Adjust ambient sounds (four settings, including frogs, waves, insects)
- Toggle day and night
- Adjust volume
As you can see, this is actually kind of an interactive application. Plus, if you stick your finger into the water the fish will come over and “nibble” on it.
At 99 cents, this thing is a steal. Like Rain Stick, this is the kind of app that might even reduce your stress level.
